How Great Is Our God.
Acacia Ministries started with a vision that God had given to me of a dry land full of mishap trees and in the middle of all the trees there stood in all it's splendor the Acacia Tree. I asked God what the vision meant and the Holy Spirit began to speak to me and say " The trees represent women who have been abused in marriages, women who have been molested and raped, women who have turned their lives over to lesbianism, young ladies who have prostituted for rent or drugs, wives of divorce who thought their marriage would last forever...I think you get the picture.
Acacia Ministries is founded upon the scripture Job 14:7-9, "For there is Hope for a tree, If it is cut down , that it will sprout again, And that the tender shouts will not cease. Though its roots may grow old in the earth. And its stump may die in the ground. Yet at he scent of water it will bud and bring forth branches like a plant." Acacia Ministries is designed by God to bring forth Hope in what appears to be a hopeless situation and to "Change Lives By Changing The Way We Think" God has created each of us for a purpose, and with Jesus Christ as our supplier of life we shall never thirst again. The Acacia wood was used to build the tabernacle" a movable worship center which God Himself dwelt in the Holy of Holies" Exodus 25:9.
Acacia Wood is strong, resilient and has the ability to grow in desert climates. Acacia wood survives harsh environments and it's root grows deep. God instructed Moses to use Acacia wood to build the temple and then to overlay it with gold "How beautiful this temple must have been.'' The same characteristics that are associated with the Acacia also dwell in you, and with Christ. It is my desire, my vision and my prayer that YOU will bring forth your branches like a plant!
